DIY Stuffies!

A patron came in recently wanting to do a project or two on the sewing machines. They grabbed some sewing templates that we already had in the CoLab and went to work! This patron worked on the pink bear first and finished it in no time at all. After that they wanted to do more so we printed off the cactus template and then they finished that off as well! All in one day of open hours!

This is a great example of someone that is not sure what they wanted to make at first but after coming in and looking around they found something that interested them and they ended up finishing two different projects in one day. Plus they have the added bonus of taking their projects home and being proud of the fact that the two stuffies were handmade by them!

Again, you too can do this! Just make a trip to the lincoln library CoLab and take a look around. I’m sure you will find something to make.
