Borrowing a Thing
Who can borrow a Thing
Anyone 16 and over with a valid Lincoln Library or reciprocal borrowing card can check out from the Library of Things. Cards must be in good standing (outstanding fees of no more than $10 and no lost or billed items) and all borrowers must sign a one-time liability waiver.
How to borrow a Thing
Browse the collection online and place a hold or stop by the first floor of the Library to find your Thing. See staff at the 1st floor Borrower Services desk to check out.
How to return a Thing
Return all items to the Lincoln Library Borrower Services desk. Do not place in any drop boxes. Make sure that your items are clean, in working order, and complete to avoid being charged repair or replacement costs.
