Join us for a discussion of our 32nd President, FDR, and his lasting legacy. We’ll watch and discuss two short films, “The Tennessee Valley Authority” and “What Did FDR’s New Deal Really Do?” Bring your own questions, such as, What did the New Deal actually accomplish? Did it go too far? Not far enough? Was FDR a Communist? An aristocrat? What are the facts vs. the myths about the New Deal: for example, did it actually end the Great Depression? Does the good outweigh the bad when it comes to the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA)? What were its lasting impacts?
