Have a lot of unused craft supplies gathering dust in storage? Ever wanted to try a new craft, but didn't want to splurge on expensive materials? Then come to the Library's Craft Supply Exchange! Bring in whatever crafting supplies you no longer need, share them with other crafters, and who knows--you might just find the supplies you need to create your next masterpiece!
You can bring in supplies to donate in advance of the program by dropping them off at the Reference Desk. Please make sure that any items you donate are clean and in usable condition.
Things that can be donated include (but are not limited to!):
- Scrapbooking supplies (scrapbook paper, stickers, decoupage glue, scissors, stamps, etc)
- Sewing notions (buttons, thread, zippers & fasteners, seam rippers, etc)
- Fabric and fabric notions (like ribbons, bias tape, etc)
- Art supplies (markers, paints, colored pencils, paintbrushes, sketchbooks, etc)
- Knitting and crochet supplies (needles & crochet hooks, yarn, stitch markers & holders, etc)
- Jewelery making supplies (beads, pliers, chains, charms, etc)
