Spinetinglers Horror Book Club

The Spinetinglers Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of each month for discussion of a different horror book. If you're a fan of ghosts, vampires, or other spooks and ghouls, this book club is for you!

This month's selection is The Gathering by C.J. Tudor, a vampire story set in rural Alaska. The tiny town of Deadhart is rocked by the grisly murder of a young boy, and the townsfolk are convinced the murderer is a member of the Colony: a community of exiled vampyrs living deep in the woods. The residents of Deadhart want revenge, and task Detective Barbara Atkins and former sheriff Jenson Tucker with tracking down the perpetrator. But as the pair dive into the case, they begin uncovering secrets darker than they could have imagined--and when another body is found, it's unclear whether they're hunting a bloodthirsty monster...or a dangerous psychopath.
