Spinetinglers Horror Book Club

The Spinetinglers Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of each month for discussion of a different horror book. If you're a fan of ghosts, vampires, or other spooks and ghouls, this book club is for you!

This month's selection is Lone Women by Victor LaValle.  The novel follows Adelaide Henry, a young Black woman who carries an enormous steamer trunk wherever she goes---a trunk that can never be opened, because when it is, the people around her start to disappear.  The secrets inside Adelaide's trunk drive her from her California home to pursue a life as a single homesteader in Montana, but evil is not so easy to outrun.
