Event Details

This LGBTQ+ History Month, join Lincoln Library’s staff for an encore performance of our free walking tour of historic LGBTQ+ sites in Downtown Springfield. From Ethel Mars to Smokey’s Den to The Prairie Flame to PrideFest, we have a lot to be proud of. Come see Springfield through rainbow-colored glasses!

The total distance will be close to 2.5 miles, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water. There will be a few opportunities to take a short rest and water break, but the walk will last between 90 minutes and 2 hours total. Questions are encouraged.

Meet in the atrium of the library at the starting time. We will not cancel if there is light rain, but we will cancel if there is heavy rain or storms. Keep an eye out for an email in case of inclement weather!

Registration is required for this event. (However, if demand is high and a wait list forms, we may add additional dates.)
