Join us as we kick off our series examining big issues heading into the Presidential election this fall. 

This week, we'll be watching episode 2, "The Trial of John Peter Zenger", and episode 12, "The Lenny Bruce Trials", examining the changing ideas around freedom of speech from Colonial times to the recent past.

Through the use of historical photographs and dramatic readings and re-enactments based on original newspaper accounts, presents the story of the August 14, 1908 race riot in Springfield, Illinois.

This week, we'll be watching episode 14, "Wisconsin v. Yoder", and episode 9, "Jehovah's Witnesses and Flag Salute Cases", examining parents' rights when it comes to educating their children.

As we wrap up this series, this week we'll be watching episode 6, "The Trial of the Haymarket Eight", and episode 23, "The Citizens United Case", examining two very different types of power.
